Arroyo confirms run for Congress in May 2010 polls

President Arroyo has confirmed that she is “not ready to step down completely from public office” after her presidential term ends June 30, 2010. She announced, in a recorded interview broadcast on government radio station DZRB on Monday, that she will run for the congressional seat of the 2nd district of Pampanga “in order to serve the hard-working people of my province.” ANC with audio courtesy of Radyo ng Bayan.
