Despite the undeniable success of their teleserye Katorse, rumors spread that the said program’s lead stars, Erich Gonzales and Ejay Falcon, are currently in the midst of cold war. As reported, the conflict was triggered by Ejay’s alleged declaration that being paired with him is in fact Erich’s sole claim to fame.

Upon hearing of the said issue, Ejay immediately denies the said accusation. Humbly he speaks that he is in no position to relay such loaded words. To further explain his side, he says, “Sa akin lang, wala akong karapatang magsabi niyan, at hinding-hindi ko sinabi sa kanya (Erich) ‘yan.”

But despite Ejay’s denial, on Erich’s press conference this morning (December 30), she couldn’t help but grow pretty emotional the moment the said issue was brought up. Without hesitation, she admitted in front of the press that she got truly affected by the said controversy. According to her, “Na-hurt po talaga ako dahil di ko ine-expect na ganon… Sa 4 years ko po sa showbiz, never ako nanggamit ng tao, so nakaka-hurt lang talaga.”

Given her reaction towards the issue, it didn’t come as a surprise when Erich blurted out that she and Ejay aren’t actually in good terms. As of now, she claims that her relationship with Ejay is purely business—no more, no less. She adds that she’s just trying to be nonchalant about their current situation while at work, most especially now that the lad has not yet shown his interest to give out an apology, or to talk to her at least, regarding the matter.
