Pokwang said that she is not complaining even if she will be working during Christmas break. “Wala akong dapat ika-sad. May trabaho ako tapos kumikita ako, ‘di ba? Mas sad ‘yung mga taong naghahanap ng trabaho pero hindi mabigyan [tapos] magpa-Pasko na. Suwerte pa rin talaga ako nang bonggang-bongga.” And to make up to her daughter for the lost time, Pokwang said that she would bring her along on out-of-town shows. “’Pag puwede ko siyang isama, sinasama ko na rin para makapasyal naman,” she shared.

The Wowowee co-host explained that she will host a corporate show on December 23 and will join the Metro Manila Film Festival parade Nobody, Nobody But Juan. She said that she both feels excited and pressured about the latter since it her first movie to be included in MMFF. She also feels honored to co-star with King of Comedy Dolphy whom she had previously worked with in the comedy sketch show Quizon Avenue and whom she considers as a mentor. “Quizon Avenue days pa lang, sinasabi na niya sa akin na, ‘Be you, be natural. Kung anong nararamdaman mo, ipakita mo,’” she shared.

As for her Christmas wish, Pokwang said she only has ones for her loved ones, especially her mother. “Sana kami ng nanay ko magsama pa kami nang matagal kasi maka-nanay kaming lahat. Bigyan siya ni God ng lakas ng pangangatawan para makita pa niya ‘yung pagsisikap ko para sa kanila,” she shared.

Pokwang also admitted that she is open to the idea of getting a love life at the moment, but added that she is not desperate for it. “Okay naman ako kasi well-loved naman ako ng mga friends and family,” she said, adding that she currently has no prospective love interest. “Hindi pa ngayon, hintayin na lang natin.”
