Toni Gonzaga and her pals Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzales are all set to host Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 edition this summer. Teenagers from different parts of the country and the globe will be introduced as the newest housemates who will face the tough challenges of Big Brother. During the pictorial for the show, Toni said that being inside the PBB house may be the best summer experience a teenager can have in a lifetime. “Para sa akin ito na ang perfect summer getaway para sa mga teens. Usually ‘yung iba nagsa-summer camp, kumukuha ng summer lessons like swimming, dance lessons. Why not enjoy summer sa loob ngBahay ni Kuya? Mae-experience mong makibagay sa iba’t ibang ugali. Nasa isang bahay lang kayo at napapanood pa kayo worldwide.”

As a teen housemate strives to succeed in every task, deal with different attitudes of the other housemates, and survive the homesickness, Toni believes this will serve as an effective “life training” for any youngster. “Tingin ko itong PBB experience malaking tulong para sa mga housemates. Dito sila matututo ng mga maraming bagay na magagamit nila in the future. Mahahasa ‘yung displina nila, ‘yung pakikisama sa ibang tao, kung paano sila mag-desisyon.”

Toni has been hosting PBB with Mariel and Bianca for four years now, hence they have become very close friends. She shared how their real-life friendship contributes to their work in front of the camera. “Dahil friends na talaga kami, ‘yung personal humor namin nadadadala namin on camera kaya ang napapanood sa amin ng mga tao e masaya talaga kami. Ngayon nga sa pictorial talagang nangingialam kami sa isusuot ng isa’t isa. Sinasabi namin kung ano ang mas makakaganda sa mga outfit namin.”

The three girls also host Entertainment Live every Saturday and every night on SNN with Boy Abunda. Toni revealed that director Wenn Deramas is thinking about casting the three of them in a show. However, Bianca is still reluctant about trying out acting like Mariel and Toni. “Aside from hosting PBB we also wanted to do something else. Kaya nga we were so happy na we were given Entertainment Live na parang naging show naming tatlo. Dun mas navo-voice out namin ‘yung opinion namin. Pero we realized hosting pa rin ‘yun. We would like to try other things,” Toni explained.

Toni even joked that it may take a few death threats to fully convince Bianca to finally take the plunge into acting. “Ever since yata iba na ang adhikain ni Bianca sa buhay. Mas gusto niyang mag-save ng mga whales, planet, lahat na ng mase-save. Siguro more convincing pa kay Bianca. Kapag naka-receive na siya ng mga death threats siguro naman papayag na siya, ha ha ha!,” Toni laughed.
